In a galaxy not so far away, on environmentally and hostile dying planets, there lives a story of hope, survival, and resilience. Where adventurer’s from all walks of life manage to find ways to survive and thrive despite being forced into exile by the galactic empire.
Who seem, to be unable to stop their exploitation of planets for their natural resources, in order to create new technology, to then destroy those planets once they are no longer useful to them, and venture off into other avenues of space to exploit…more planets?
(This is starting to sound less like fiction and more like reality the more I think about it)
These stories of survival somehow make great blueprints for us to learn from, as we traverse through our own struggles of saving our planet, and provide hope to those seeking to be on the “bright” side of the force. Venture into deep space, as we tackle how living in the Star Wars universe, is accidentally eco.

1. Searching for Savi's

Using scraps from fallen lightsaber wielders, Savi's created a hideout in which new force sensitive allies can create their custom lightsabers from scrap metal pieces. Reusing and repurposing old hilt's to continue an ongoing fight against the empire.

2. Living Like A Jawa

Jawa's are the galaxy's junk specialist. They can find anything, anywhere, anytime. These little fella's hoard junk in order to be reused and resold for the future projects, the galaxy's true original thrifters.

3. Digging for Droid Parts and Accessories

Like CP30, most droids are mix-matched scrap metal parts. Every hero needs a droid, and every droid needs completed parts. Most droids are never completed perfectly and have either been reprogramed or created from scrap parts.

4. Getting Handy

With work being hard to find, you tend to pick up on various skills. Most of the time it's repairing and fixing old things. New technology is hard to come by on Tatooine you're going to have to settle for what you find.

5. Hitch a Ride

Since cruisers are hard to come by, there are various creatures you can ride to your destination such as Bantha, Blurrg's and Tauntaun. Creating a sustainable and viable option to your long travels.

You Are This Planet's Hope

With that said my friends, the fight for the planet continues. No action is too small, and no idea too vast. The resistance is not perfect, but we are mighty when we work together.
I hope to run into you at a droid depot, or catch you smuggling into Savi’s. The fight to save this planet continues as we learn how to tap into the force and becoming this planet's "New Hope".
May the Force, Be With You.
